Help / Clients and payment
Client emails and texts
Settings → Notifications. Edit the emails and texts clients get as a job moves from booking to report. Turn a message off if you do not want it sent.
Step 1
Open Settings → Notifications
The tab is labeled Notifications. The screen heading is Client messages. Each card is a job step: someone requests an inspection, a job is booked, an invoice goes out, the agreement is signed, payment comes in, the report is ready but held, the report is ready, and ask for a review. Email sends through Inspecta Home. Texts go to the client phone.
Step 2
Pick Email or Text
Open a card. If that step has both channels, use the Email / Text tabs. A badge on the card shows which are on. The first two steps start open; the rest stay collapsed until you tap them.
Step 3
Click a chip, then save
Tap a green chip (client name, property, fee, date and time, pay link, review link) to drop it at the cursor. Do not type dollar codes by hand unless you want to. Preview uses a sample job so you can read what the client will see. Save email or Save text. The text message field shows a character count and warns you if it may send as more than one.
Step 4
Turn a message off
Uncheck On if you do not want that email or text to send. The wording stays saved so you can turn it back on later. Off shows on the card badge.
Step 5
See what already went out
Open Queue, or use See recently sent messages on this screen. That list is outbound mail and texts for the firm — not the templates. A queued item with no recipient usually means the job is missing the client email or phone.

Write contracts and send for signature
Settings → Contracts. Keep a default agreement for everyday jobs, then add one per service. Clients sign in the portal — typed signature on every plan, or DocuSign / Dropbox Sign on Team and Scale.
Hold the report until they sign and pay
Agreements and invoices live in the client portal. You can keep the report gated until both are done.
Invoices, Stripe, and PayPal
Client invoices are your inspection fees. Connect Stripe or PayPal under Firm Billing. Inspecta Home’s own subscription is under Account → Billing.
Using the client and agent portal
Buyers open jobs to sign, pay, and read the report. Agents see the same job and can mark repair-request items.
