SchedulingPut inspection booking on the website you already have

Copy a book or request link — or paste an iframe — onto Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace. You do not have to point DNS today.
Put inspection booking on the website you already have. You already paid for Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace. You already rank for your city. You do not need to burn that down to switch report software. Inspecta Home 360 inspection scheduling software gives you a book URL, a request URL, and an iframe. Clients book you. Inspecta Home is not a listing marketplace and does not inspect houses.
Replatforming is how software projects stall for a quarter. Copy-paste is how you take a job on Thursday. Start with Links. Rebuild a hosted site later only if you want to. DNS is optional.
Links before Builder
Open Links — first in the Business / Firm nav, before Builder — on purpose. Keep the website you already run. These URLs book into Inspecta Home 360. Pick book or request. Book online quotes fees and offers an open slot. Request an inspection captures a lead for the office to call back. Firms that do not want self-serve scheduling use Request only.
The full-page link is /o/your-firm/book or /request. The iframe loads a chrome-less form at /embed/your-firm/book or /request. Paste the iframe into a Wix HTML element, a WordPress Custom HTML block, or a Squarespace Embed block. The Help article put booking on the website you already have is the whole procedure.
Connecting a domain is optional. You do not need Builder or DNS to take bookings. If you do not have a site yet, open Builder and publish the starter page. Custom domain lives under Builder → Your domain when you want www on the hosted canvas.
Put the Book Now button where people already look: the header, the services page, the phone-number block. One link is enough. Five competing contact forms is how leads die. Test the button on a phone in landscape and in portrait. If the iframe is clipped, use the full-page book URL until the theme cooperates.
Tell agents the new URL once. Put it in your email signature. Put it on the voicemail. The website you already have is still the front door; Inspecta Home 360 is the lock and the calendar behind it. You are not asking clients to “log into a new platform.” You are asking them to book you the way they already tried to.
When you do want an Inspecta site
Some firms have no site, or a site they are ready to retire. Builder has five tabs: Edit site, Look, Blog, Search listing, and Your domain. Drag sections onto the canvas, click words to change them, publish. Clients land here to request an inspection. Looks include Heritage, Studio, Signal, and North. Your copy and brand colors stay the same when you switch a look.
The live page is /o/your-firm-slug until you connect a custom domain. Blog posts and SEO titles live on the other tabs. The how-to is edit your public website. If you already have a website, you can skip this entirely and keep the Book Now button you have. Point it at Inspecta booking.
Custom domain is a later upgrade
If you want the hosted canvas on www.yourcompany.com, point a CNAME at Inspecta Home 360, prove ownership with a TXT record on _inspecta.yourhostname, and keep /o/your-firm up until DNS is active. The padlock is automatic. Status stays pending until DNS answers. If you already have a website you like, use Links instead of pointing DNS. See use your own web address.
Most registrars do not allow a CNAME on the bare root. Use www as the hostname. Redirect the apex at the registrar. Do not take the /o/your-firm page down during the wait. That fallback is how you avoid a dead Book button on a Friday.
Fees and availability have to exist
The widget pulls services and fees from Settings. If the page is blank, you are missing an active service, a price, availability hours, or a bookable flag. Fix the catalog, then reload. Do not debug the iframe first. Square footage, age, travel, and add-ons should match what you actually charge. A live estimate that is wrong is worse than a request form.
Keep service names aligned with templates in the writer. Sold a 4-point on the site, open a 4-point pack on the job. Booking is not a separate business from inspecting.
You still own the client
Clients book you at /o/your-firm, in an embed on your current site, or on a custom domain if you connect one. Inspecta Home 360 is the software behind that page. Inspecta Home is not the brand on the truck. Monthly seats, no per-inspection fee, no cut of the client payment. That is the deal. Your SEO, your phone number, your Google listing stay yours.
A Book Now button that does not embarrass you
Label it the way your site already speaks: Book an inspection, Request a time, Get a quote. Point it at book if you want priced slots, or request if the office calls back. Test it on your phone. Confirm a dummy job. Open the calendar. Open the writer. If that loop fails, fix services and availability before you spend a week on CSS.
If the iframe looks cramped, use the full-page link in a new tab. Many WordPress themes fight embeds. A clean Book page at /o/your-firm/book is still your booking, still your fees, still not a marketplace. You can style the hosted canvas later. You can connect www later. You cannot recover the lead you lost while waiting on DNS.
Put inspection booking on the website you already have. Copy the link. Paste the iframe. Take the next job without a replatform. Grow into Builder and DNS only if you want them.
If the widget shows no services, fix Settings — active service, price, availability, bookable flag — then reload. If a custom domain is stuck on pending, keep /o/your-firm live and check the CNAME and TXT records. Booking should not wait on a registrar ticket. The link works today, on the website you already rank for, with clients booking you instead of a marketplace.
Questions
- Do I have to move my domain?
- No. Most established firms keep the current site and use Links. Custom domain is optional if you want the hosted canvas on www.
- What is the difference between book and request?
- Book online quotes fees and offers an open slot. Request captures a lead for the office to call back.
- The widget is blank. Why?
- Usually no active service, no availability, or a service that is not bookable. Fix Settings, not the iframe snippet.
